On August 31st, 2010 Marmaduke will be available to purchase at your favorite movie store on DVD & Blu-ray. You can pre-order your copy through Amazon now.

As most of you know, Marmaduke starring Owen Wilson’s voice opened in theaters (in the USA) this weekend, landing Friday June 4th. The weekend box office stats put the film in 6th place, being topped by titles such as Shrek and Sex and the City 2. Make sure you show your support for Owen by taking a little bit of time out of your day to see this film.

Cars 2 (still no mention of World Grand Prix) follows Lightning McQueen and Mater as they travel the globe in their continuing adventures. The plot of Cars 2: The Race of Champions takes the automotive duo to Cars universe parallels of locations in Japan, Italy, Germany, France and England for competition against world class racers! During the course of their globe trotting, Mater is mistaken for a top spy named Finn McMissile, making for some great hijinks.

Check out the funny new trailer for the upcoming Marmaduke movie starring the voice of Owen Wilson!

Owen Wilson has signed on to voice the famous Great Dane “Marmaduke,” Fox’s live-action/CG adaptation of the popular comic strip.

Tom Dey (Shanghai Noon) is directing and John Davis is producing the family comedy. The film is set for a June 2010 release date.

The film follows a family named the Winslows who move from Kansas to Orange County with their dog Marmaduke, a mischievous dog who creates chaos wherever he goes.

Tim Rasmussen and Vince Di Meglio will write the script based on the comic strip created in 1954 by Brad Anderson and Phil Leeming.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Judy Greer, Lee Pace and William H. Macy play the humans, while Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans and Marlon Wayans supply the voices.
